Lucha Libre @ Bodega

Bodega Birmingham presents its very own guest DJ night in their basement bar Sugarloaf. Describing its music style as soul, funk, hip hop and Latin and including the very best drinks deals on Mexican themed cocktails and house wine. Have yourself a night of Mexicana madness! From 8pm – til late.

Live Comedy @ Jongleurs

Fancy something a little different? Try a night out top comedy venue Jongleurs.
Friday’s headliners including Kevin McCarthy, Yianni Agisilaou, Chris McCausland and hilarious duo Topping and Butch. Doors 7pm, shows 8.30pm.

After Work Fridays @ The Red Lion

After work Fridays at Birmingham’s Red Lion are a great antidote to the working week. Just what you need to let your hair down (release that man bun!).  A great selection of top notch ales and lagers and you can grab a best of British bite to eat. They also have a jukebox – the playlist is yours! 5pm onwards.


Dr Jekyll’s Potion @ The Jekyll and Hyde

Birmingham’s finest DJ’s host The Jekyll and Hyde’s Saturday evening of music entertainment – Dr Jekyll’s Potion. Soul classics, funky tunes and motown melodies will grace your eager ears. Very reasonably priced cocktails from only £4.50 too! 

Live Comedy @ The Glee Club

Witness four side splittingly good comedians do their stuff live at Birmingham’s Glee Club. This week see Dave Fulton, Chris Kent, Rob Deering and Martin Mor. Doors 7pm.

Alternative indie band Ducktails are to be Hare and Hounds act for Saturday’s This is TMRW night. For those not wanting a heavy night in the city, but for something more laid back in a casual friendly atmosphere. 7pm – 10pm


Come Vinyl with Me @ Fletchers

A quirky and unique idea, perfect for a relaxed Sunday evening. Bring your own records for the DJ to play (vinyl’s of course) – any music tastes goes! Try something different and get yourself to Fletchers this Sunday from 5pm.

Comedy Night @ The Butchers Social

Sit back and relax – enjoying the fantastic talents of Gary Delaney (as seen on Mock the Week) as well as equally talented support acts. Food is available too (always good!) from 4pm, comedy kicks off at 6.30pm.

The Jam’d @ The Road House

The Jam tribute will play The Road House in Birmingham this Sunday. The Jam’d have gotten themselves quite a reputation – for being and awesome echo of on the best British music acts!
