Top 5 Daytime Activities in Cardiff

Without sounding stereotypical (and I’m sure you boys won’t mind) being a boy comes hand in hand with the appreciation of some sort of sporting activity. With Cardiff being a sporting epicentre with its top quality sports venues, headquarters and clubs – it makes absolute perfect sense to take you and the boys off to sunny Wales for a stag do or lads weekend. To give you a few pointers we thought we would lay down a few (actually 5) of the top daytime activities in Cardiff.

Welsh Games

Nothing could be more appropriate on a lad’s trip to Cardiff, than some Welsh themed inflatable madness! Get competitive with 9 fantastic games such as sheep shenanigans, drunk dragons and duffin’ Daffyd! Outdoors, music blaring with your own personal host pumping up the atmosphere and making sure to capture all the humiliation on camera!

Dr Who Experience

A somewhat specialist and more niche interest maybe, but it’s said you don’t even need to be a fan of the show to enjoy this out of world sci-fi experience (although it definitely helps if you are!). In a specially constructed, purpose built venue, travel through time and space enjoying interactive activities, exhibitions, tours and even a chance to visit the Tardis itself!

Water Sports

You don’t get more adrenalin packed than a water sport adventure weekend! Whether it’s coasteering, gorge scrambling, surfing or sea kayaking you’re sure not to be disappointed. Including a full safety briefing and all the equipment you will need to climb, swim and crawl you’re way through your soggy but super lad’s activity.

Millennium Stadium

The Millennium Stadium; national stadium of Wales and home to the Wales national rugby union team as well as staging many Welsh football games. Take a tour of the dressing room, walk the tunnel and tread the turf. You could even time your weekend for one of the famous sporting events – and see a big rugby or football game whilst you are there.

The Clink

Eat out in a prison! Ok, so opinions on this may differ – but be assured by the fact all inmates are category D and being offered a unique opportunity to change their lives by training in hospitality. The food is fantastic and eating there is definitely a unique experience – some would say even pretty cool.
